Good to see cas clueless when a team actually defends against them although it would be better for us if car win

Cas looked very average tonight. Nothing for any of the top 8 teams to fear. Shut down their shift play to the left edge (which we've managed to do 3 times this year) and they don't seem to have many other ideas.

Tough game for us next week.

All I saw was Castleford kicking to the corner constantly as they didn't have a clue how to break St Helens down

Gotta hope that all that defence tonight took a lot out of Saints, but to their credit they looked very fit and like they could have gone for another half hour tonight!

Well both teams have had a week off so they should look fit

Where was Gale tonight he was almost invisible. Great performance by St's tonight so big ask next week but we should fear no one. Have doubts as the whether this is a St's team that can back up a performance like that as the teams in the past have been able to do.

Bit like us against Hudds at home

Saints look like they could be the form team coming into the Super 8's and look good for a Top 4 place.



Think we just need to play the long game and aim for Top 4, which will be 3rd/4th. Then back ourselves in the semi finals.



I think Cas's lead may hinder them and they could lose some of the form. Therefore, 4th may be a good position to finish and target a trip Cas in the semi final.



First things first, we must win tonight and show some intent that this season we after looking for a Double, not just a Wembley win.

Think a win tonight is crucial and a must to be honest after St's win last night. Still think winning 4 games should be enough to make the top 4 as that would mean both Salford and Wakefield having to win at least 6 (or 5 plus a draw) and Wigan to win all 7 to go above us.

We need to be able to back up last weekend SF performance and show we can sustain the momentum needed at this stage of the season.
