So a long break into the next game.  Leeds in pretty decent form and maybe have croft and ackers back?


I'm hoping we may have at least 1 proper 2nd rower back but every time cartwright is asked he says 4 to 6 weeks so no idea if we will.


We need to get back to being more controlled with the ball and more disciplined or it will be another L in the results column.

Isn’t it amazing how teams seem to get players back when they play us?


Leeds are building into a decent side and should have beaten the Dobbins last week.


Be a tough game this one and we need to get back to something like how we were playing a month ago to stand a chance.

we really need some of our injured second rowers back, if not i feel it will be another loss! 

There is a reserves game this week, wonder if giving Ashworth a run out in second row would help so that we can push Hardaker back out to centre the following week. 

Hopefully couple weeks off will do them good  could do with couple of bodies back for this one 

This will be a test of what level we are at, win and back in the playoff hunt lose and sadly I'd start to expect a slip into lower table nothingness.

Hopefully after the weeks rest will have some more energy, I get the feeling certain players are running on empty (Ese ese, Knight, Burough, Asiata especially) due to injuries and other things and they've been taking an absolute flogging every week. 

Fingers crossed we can use this week to get an extra body in to give us some size and threat in the back row as at the moment there's no tackle busting ability out there.

The team have looked visibly tired the last few games... hopefully a rest will do us the world of good.

Think we definitely need to swap Knight and Aydin, split Knight and Ese Ese up and Aydin is much more effective as a starter.

Aydin bit of the pace compared to last year .... Hopefully takes the ball up more ......like to see Eseh get more minutes as does seem a handful 

My opinion on Aydin is that he stood out last year because he was much fitter than everyone else, now fitness levels are up across the board he doesn't stand out as much.


He does the little things well (defensive efforts, kick chase etc) but overall I think he's a pretty average player. Doesn't seem to have the grunt in attack which you'd argue the likes of Ese'ese/Knight/Eseh JR and Ashworth have over him.


Still got age on his side for a forward but I think he realistically should be seen as a squad player should we have top 4 ambitions in the next couple years.

Aydin is too small.  He would be better in the 2nd row or cover for asiata at 13.  He's pretty mobile although doesn't seem that quick.  Is he contracted for another year or two?
