I hope this rumour is wrong. It seems madness to me to give Owen a 3 year deal and Riley one. Based on last Sunday alone I wouldn't offer Owen a contract at all. |

 Think Webster has more sense than that surely.
We've got enough to cover his wing position next year. Would rather be hearing Tim Smith on a 3 year deal and retain Paul Sykes on a 1 year deal for the spare full back position. |

Good signing. This time last year this wouldn't have been believed.
Do not have any problem at all with Owen signing as well if it were to happen. I don't see what peoples problem is with him. We have had far far worse players on the wing over the years and some have become something of a folk hero!
Sykes on the other hand i wouldn't be too fussed about. Yes, he has had a half decent finish to the season, but at 35'ish his influence and good games are getting fewer and fewer over the season. Personally think it may just be time to go our separate ways.
On another note i dont think Craig Hall will be playing on the wing next year. Don't ask me where he will be, but i just dont think he has come to play on the wing.

A fair signing - he hasn't set the world on fire, but as he develops a good partnership with his centre, we should see more from him; I'd still like to see him run sideways a bit less, but that will come with time when the systems and structures are set for 2015.

As I said only a rumour I was also told we had paid him off between 30-50k to get him off the books, so who knows but he must have signed somewhere to accept that IF ITS TRUE. |

Probably Salford, they could not get him this year as their thug quota was full, the release of Hock has left a space. |
