Team as a whole were terrible today no intensity in defence and errors galore.



Short turnaround and injuries to anderson and kirmond arent going to help against a sts side who will score 80 if we play like we did today.



I know teams like ours tend to be inconsitent but when were bad we are atrocious

The problem is that if we do manage to beat em next week, the usual suspects' will be back on here swearing their undoubted allegiance to the club, shouting come on ye trin, and giving it the royal we

Appalling result. A timely wake up call for both players and supporters who may have been getting ahead of themselves. We're favourites for the drop for a reason.



Having said that I think Trinity will do Saints this Friday.

Signing all those forwards isn't looking so silly after all with injuries to Anakin, Kirke, Simon, Ashurst and now Anderson.

I agree this was very very disappointing but not the end of the world. Probably worse because we feel Widnes is one of the teams we should be beating but tomorrow's another day and time to lick our wounds and come back stronger.

No wonder the bookies are rich. You just can't explain some of the results so far this season. I thought it would be close with who ever got the bounce of the ball winning it, but then again look at HKR beating Wigan today.

What I find more annoying than being humiliated by Widnes, is the people with the 'holier than thou' attitude, who moan at people being upset by today's result. The biggest bunch of hypocrites.

WE looked very "out of sorts today" some poor errors and a total lack of intensity in defence.

Widnes were clinical and rode their luck well but, we were truly awful.

For me, this was the worst performance since the 72 - 0 at London, following the alleged card school.



A week of and that was the best we could manage, really.



There were 2 plus points from today, although 1 of them cuts both ways.

1. A great turn out from the Wakefield fans, although they were badly let down

2. We are still 2 from 3, which most would have been happy with before the start of the season



Let's hope for a response against Saints, although the loss of Anderson is massive.

Just got to draw a line under it and move on, most teams have a few shocking performances throughout the season.

Dominated in the forwards. Halfbacks invisible - just not our day. Gutted about the result. Tough game and short turn around on Friday
