The Signing of Locke indicated our intention to try to stay in SL for next season at least the other three suggest we are edging our bets and preparing for the championship and what that will bring.

Tansey has had two very good games against Wakefield this year. He's had issues off the field in the past but I'd imagine he's grown up a bit now after going to Dewsbury and York via Sydney and Hull! Decent signing based on playing ability for me and he'll be hungry to play after not playing for the last few games

Sensible planning no? If/when the club drop down having a fairly settled squad gives them the best chance of bouncing straight back up.

For next season.... As stated above Tansey is a good player. BLM I wasn't having a dig at him, from what I've heard he's grown up somewhat and is more serious about his rugby nowadays. We've had plenty with off field issues who have been excellent

Howarth absolutely pointless if we are in championship we could sign him.next year. No other team would want a below average hooker. Tansey is far better than Owen. We don't need that position we need a prop and a centre ffs!!!
