If Belle vue is all that he is after then he has no need to buy the club, all he needs to do is buy it off of whoever owns it. Because of this i doubt your claim is true.

Is is a strange one as the Trinity do not own BV so there is no need to purchase the club gain access to it. As you say he would have to negotiate with whoever owns the site.

Like what has been said the club dont own Belle Vue so why buy the club?? although in order for Belle vue to be developed the club has to have a new home or they cant have the planning permission that goes with it..

Thats an interesting slant on the situation! Parkin's interested came from the planned Newmarket devlopment, from then learning about the Belle Vue site and such fourth.
