So whatever name you want to give him, I've never met anyone who doesn't respect JD for what he did for the club.

If you want to be picky about the word people use Vasty, you go right ahead, but as I read it, JD is one of if not the most liked and admired player of the modern era at Wakefield.



I've seen Neil Fox play as an old man. Topper play as a young and old man. They are legends of the club and in Neil's case a legend of the sport.

JD does not match it with them on playing ability or time at the club.



But they didn't play in the same erase and we haven't had legends like them at the club in a long time.



But for integrity, will to make something happen at Wakefield, support and leadership of the team in very tough times.....I put him right at the top.

Its a bit of a sad state of affairs when a supporter of another club cant post on here an item/event that might just be of interest to a few of your supporters and is organized by a volunteer fans committee to benefit not just a lad who's given fantastic service to one club in the lower divisions for 10 seasons , but also as part of the testimonial backing the Danny Jones Defib Fund....without comments like that one
