Why would we need to bring a test case? AFAIK nobody has yet been ejected....



I would think the comment by Shameless re money towards legal action is because of us having a perceived jump on you, BUT who knows what the RFL will do.

This talk of legal action against the RFL is pure fantasy - WTW literally don't have a pot to pee in, let alone sufficient funds to engage a barrister with the requisite specialist knowledge to take on the sports governing body. Neither, I suspect, is there any appetite to do so, given that it would effectively signal the end of the relationship between the two organisations and therefore, snuff out what faint hope we have of getting back into SL after we're booted out in 2012.



Don't be under any illusion that we'll get our day in court; we won't.

In a couple of weeks time an all parties investigation takes place in the Houses of Parliament into the governance of football. Maybe it is time we all lobbied our lcal MPs into one for Rugby League. I would love to be a fly on the wall when Nigel and co` have to attend and try to explain the rules and regulations of P&R .

I would imagine that the rfl's policy on all clubs having to agree to all it's policies or they would be kicked out of SL would be as arsy to overturn as the famed police practice of kicking the $hit out of suspects until they signed a "confesion" back in the 70s was.

You can't hold a gun to peoples heads to get them to "sign" and expect it to stand up in court.

Pointless explaining that to tb, he ain't a good listener!!
