If clubs were looking to pay a fee, big wages, and use a quota spot.... They'd probably aim a little higher than JP. I would if I was a coach anyway (and it's a travesty that I aren't

plus HKR are rumoured to have financial problems - they might not be able to afford a fee anyway

HKR are stalling on the Cockayne contract it seems. The deal is agreed, but no paperwork to sign is being made available.

there is no money worries at rovers, we have new investors perhaps that's wishful thinking on Dave@cas's part. as for BC we are currently being linked with a goal kicking winger from elsewhere and as we only need 1 winger perhaps that's why things have gone cold on that front

I think Hull KR's previous money issues have been eased considerably in recent times thanks to Mr Allams interest in sticking the boot into Hull FC. He also owns Hull City and and wants the KC and is also no friend of Adam Pearson.



I believe the deal was put 'on hold' by Hull KR so they could incorperate both BC & JP into one and make it cheaper for themselves overall. We are that desperate to take the chance to get Poores' wage off the books we are willing to do the deal this way. More money-shaped holes are appearing all the time by the sounds of things and I imagine the current incumbents are finding the going quite tough.

We probably paid the players who are staying with us next year before the ones who are departing. Not saying this is what happened just a theory of mine.
