Castle Grove Park would be a fantastic location if redeveloping Belle Vie is not possible!

Drove past many a time thinking it's a nice space for a stadium but it would bring up its own issues most already pointed out on this thread.

No I'm not! I knew about that ground just not who played on it, I would never have guessed that a club as posh as Sandal would play in such an undesirable area as Agbrigg or Belle Vue, no disrespect to the locals

If Newmarket is a no go I will be stuck with the giant white cloud x3 where I live I would feel used and abused. I feel sick now thinking about how they have stiched us up like kippers.

something we actually agree on when im coming home from town there used to be a beautiful church in the distance as you just come down stanley hill all you see now is that white monstrosity in the distance it makes my blood boil

Newmarket has planning permission for a stadium already and with training pitches and facilities it will be a great sporting asset for the City. In a perfect world they're lots of better locations for a stadium in and around the City but we don't have that option, done right Newmarket will be brilliant.

Sandal goes from Haddingley Hill where it meets Belle Isle to Chevet Lane where it becomes Milnthorpe. So Sandal RUFC play in Milnthorpe as their ground name suggests.

So if Sandal RUFC play in Milnthorpe and not in Sandal as you suggest, then why can't the cricket club play in Agbrigg as they back on to the houses on...........................................Agbrigg road AGBRIGG, while we are on the subject why do they call it Portobello Estate and not Sandal Estate or even Milnsthorpe estate? lost no, confused yes
