| I had us down for one win out of the first two games, but the other way around. It's actually worked out better, as we have taken points off Leeds.
It's almost down to any four from five, with Shudds too far back, Salford fading & the Pies needing to win probably all their games to get into the top 4. One of these games is at the Saints & another at FC, so that's going to be a big ask.
If we win both our home games, and pick up an away win (Salford?), I feel that will be enough for 4th and a trip back to t'lane for the semi-final.
Whatever happens, isn't it great that with just five games left of the season, we are still in contention for a GF place. Two years ago we were two minutes & one Danny Addy kick away from a Golden Point to decide our future.

Absolutely.
People are saying to me "cas will bottle it in the semis / grand final.
If we do it'll be gutting but, 10 years ago we were playing in the championship, and back then it was much weaker than what it is now.
The fact that cas have won the LLS and folk are even TALKING about the predictions for cas in the semis / final is fantastic to me.
There's a lot of pressure on cas to deliver their best form when it REALLY matters but, regardless of the ending, it's the first time in my lifetime I've been able to watch cas dominate the league.
Wakefield are in a very similar boat, and with an what's going on away from the pitch for the club, wherever you finish from here on in, in the grand scheme, it's been a terrific season.

YesI agree. Local jesting aside, I am glad to see both teams up the top end of the league. Makes a nice change from the usual suspects! I also wrote to the Wakefield Express in 2006 and said we should have a shared ground but that never happened!

| How many tickets have you folks been allocated?
We've less than 2000 tickets left for Thursday just wondering what your numbers were
Great to see you up in the mix

| I hope we can delay the inevitable on Thursday and that we have a good following on the terracing. I picked up a couple of tickets today but forgot to ask about our predicted numbers.

| Oh you're such a ray of sunshine aren't you, the floodlights haven't cooled down on the last game you were certain would be an embarrassment, and already the next one is an inevitable failure...:/
blimey its a battle, just keep your browser open on the humble pie thread, save you looking for it should the utterly impossible happen..

Think I'll be taking that.
No doubt we'll trying to be spoil CTRLFC party (like we always seem to do) but they fully deserve it - the league table doesn't lie. However I hope it doesn't come on Thursday and we come away with two points.

| I still think it would suit Cas's longer term target to let us win on Thursday and strengthen our hold on 4th. Semi versus Wakey at home rather than Saints????
