We have a meeting today and hope to start revealing details for the meeting shortly.

For those that can afford, just buy the new platinum membership.

It's also worth noting that many of our fans are concessions and juniors and they just haven't got the brass to pay extra.

It's rediculous to think 4000 fans will pay an extra £100 quid, also ludicrous to have a 10yr season ticket.



Not enough people will do it.

Yep. Or have families that need looking after or are struggling as it is. There is more to life than Wakefield Trinity i'm afraid and it isn't just as simple as 'just pay an extra £100'. Many are highly likely to already be paying as much as they can afford.



Do you want a superleague club keeps getting, rather patronisingly, asked? Yes of course would be the answer from all, but not at the expense of struggling elsewhere in life. Times are tough and many of the 4k season ticket holders just can't afford to pay extra and those who think they should anyway are living on a different planet i'm afraid. People will do what they can but without extra external investment we are peeing into the wind.

But all we are doing is suggesting things to try and get some cash into the club so that we still have a team to watch no matter which division it will be in.

If the club run some copies of the Cas game off I don't mind hawking them at the meeting

I think we have to be careful and try avoid the guilt tripping we rightly pulled Bradford up on during their crisis last year. If you have a spare few quid around to throw at a business, well done, but don't try to act as a class above those who have other expenses of greater need than a badly run business. Those who made the mess, are they digging deep as others are asked to?



Theboyem has it spot on. We need a massive external investor, we're just throwing money down the drain without it. Unpalatable as that may be, it's the truth.

Please hold your water until Monday. We have no intention of throwing anyones money down any drain.



We are also very conscious of the fact that what people can afford will vary hugely across our fan base, but the truth is that the club need money and the more that can be put in the better the club will be to perform on and off the pitch!

So is the meeting free to enter?
