Thanks Snowie - tried that already , but as you say they're late putting them up . Seems to be every year though - i mean how hard can it be ? Doesn't help when there's kitchen rotas etc. to get sorted though .

cas panthers u11s played a huge dewsbury celtic side,after been 20-0 up midway through the second half the panthers let the dewsbury side back into the game when they scored 3 converted tries before the panthers scored a again to run out 26-18 winners.

stanley 11s and 9s both hosted stanningley this weekend.

after a upside down couple of weeks within the group and some kids only being back in training for a week a so the coach had his work cut and bravely moved many of the lads around the field and to his his credit seems to have hit a fine balance early on , last season this team gave us a couple of fair beatings this time round the lads went down 12-6 in a game which could of gone either way and a draw could be argued to of been a fair result . if the new coach gets a bit more backing and another assistant who knows what might happened.



a massive thank you to out wood and his assistant who as reveled his id on here so im not gonna name him for all the time effort energy and dedication they have given to my son and the team over the last 2 seasons . junior rugby realise totally on volunteers and without them the game is stuffed.

after going down 1-0 and then 2-1 we took the lead 4-2 the game was even-Stevens until it got to 7-6 in stanley's favour

stanningley had the ball in the rangers 10 and the ref from stanningley called 1 minute to go in this last minute of play stanningley had 3 plays then lost the ball Stanley had 2 then had a player injured for 3 minutes the player got Stanley had 3 more plays and scored 8-6 stanningley played the ball from the restart and after 2 more plays scored Stanley played the ball at the restart the ref said it was an incorrect play the ball penalised Stanley on the halfway and on the 4 play the ball staninley scored the ref blew for full time 8-8

good old days the second half was 30 minutes long lol

we should of been traveling to stanningley this weekend but it seems the coach has had a fall out with the club and take most of the team away





not a very good start to the season for them

I have coached from 6 year olds to Great Britain academy at 18's and the main problem is all junior players come with Ass holes ! they are called Mam and Dad, simple as that.

after watching my little un playing and listening to the parents i can agree..i stand away and speak to him after a game, the worst imho are the women who mostly don't understand the rules..apart from hunslet warriors who don't understand anything! probs cause reading is beyond them so the rules don't count!
