| I agree I too have many doubts about this signing and yes others have signed keynote players but with the exception of Warrington these squads are short of depth. They are gambling on keeping the majority of their squads injury free.

| I have doubts but I am happy with Brough, a lot of other clubs in worse positions currently.

| Quote Kettykat="Kettykat"It’s a win win situation for me as we now have one of the best half’s in super league but also cover if things go wrong. On his day there are few better kickers or passers of the ball and I for one can’t wait to see him run out in our club colours . Bet Pauli n co can’t wait to be put through gaps now instead of battering their way up field . Most on here will admit last season we were at times headless when it came to last plays and keeping the pressure on , now we have a guy who has all the guile n skill to unpick those defences and I for one can’t wait to see him run out in a wakey shirt .'"
I’m not sure where you’ve got this idea from but just so you know, miller made twice as many TA than brough. Hampshire made more too. His short range kicking isn’t that great, poorer since the new ball design, and we scored few tries on last tackle options last season, and when we did it was usually Gaskell that orchestrated those.
His goal kicking has also gone down hill about 65% success rate last year.
What he will do is get you territory with his long range kicking. He’s a master at getting the ball in the right place, with plenty of time, to go to the right place. Expect a few more 40/20s next season. I reckon a change / refresh is just what he needs. He will always give 100% effort of that you can be sure.

You do realise that we will very likely have Miller, Hampshire and Brough all playing at the same time.
If it clicks, which of course there is no guarantee, we will have an extremely dynamic attack and with the likes of Pauli, Fifita and Kopczak running off them, it could be an interesting season for Trinity.
Come om Trin !

| Personally I still think this could be a risky signing especially with it being a two year deal.
HOWEVER having watched the England scrum half perform today I would take Broughy every time over that vastly overrated player.

It may still be but ateotd if Brough doesn't come and play like we know he can, he'll be in the reserves because I can't see CC standing for any dramatics from him. He just needs to keep his head down and play RL and I think especially this upcoming season he'll play well because he's got a point to prove.

Myler is nowhere near international quality. Never has been, never will be.
Brough's temperament has cost him dear over the years (at International level) but, if Chester can keep him under "control", Brough still has enough quality, especially with his kicking game, to do a great job for Trinity.
I'm already looking forward to the new season and Trinity could make a real push for a play off spot and then, hold tight, it could be interesting.

| Personally im happy with Broughy. Whilst Rocky has shown promise at no 7 i dont think we will be able to make top 5 again if he is our main partner to Milky. Likewise Reynolds, who i imagine is only here as back up.
If we are being honest, can any name a British no 7, who is better than Brough, avaliable, within our budget and wants to play for Trin? I cant think of one.
Even if signing Brough doesnt work, we still have Rocky to step in.
Lets get behind him from the off and hope he takes us to the next level in the short time he will be with us.
