To be fair we have held quite a few teams up to half-time, as bad as we've been there must be 4 or 5 games where technically we were still in it at half-time.....

Do you actually want Kay in the centre?! Maybe he's on some sort of bonus to see if he can play every position before the season's out....

Kay is one of the few players that Trinity should retain as his utility value is priceless. I think he’d do a better job at centre than most other options such as Ashurst and Taufua … where’s Corey Hall when you need him? Ahh yes we swapped him for a full back and now money has been found for a scrum half…

Can't disagree with you on most of that. Kay has been one of the better signings in the last 3 or 4 years, but still not sure about him playing centre

but like you say the other options are hardly appealing. It makes me laugh though with some on here who are bemoaning the fact we have no centres in the squad, when Reece Lyne has come in for quite some stick.....

Lynn is a shadow of the player he was a few years ago. I won’t question his effort but he’s just not good enough these days. He’s too cumbersome and billed up too much.



As for Kay. I started the season thinking he was a 9 and converting well but for me he’s not transitioned that well. He is lacking in the distribution side and decision making which at this level is costly. He can do some good scoots when on the front foot but I think we need to be sticking with Hood and Bowes who are experienced 9s. Kay can cover in emergency.



As for Centre I don’t know but I guess it’s only him or taufua. Neither are centres or have the experience there.
