Well its fingers crossed time and it sounds as though it has gone as well as could be expected. Lets hope sense prevails and it gets the green light and the stadium development proceeds as promised. Time will tell on both those hopes. Lets hopethe LDF review goes our way in january to help matters along.

It just seems like a backwards way to communicate to me, short messages, random names etc, I don't see the point when there are far better methods (in my opinion) to communicate with the masses out there. It's like the Internet going back to the standard of mobile phones when I first got one in the '90s.

I went yesterday to the PI and I heard the back end of something. Am I correct in thinking the trigger has changed for the start of the stadium. From it being built at the start of the development to being built when a third of the units are built and let. Maybe I got the wrong end of the stick but it sounded like that to me. IA please help?

There has been a fair bit of debate about the terminology, some suggest the situation you describe, but others suggest the agreements to use the units are all that are needed, not necessarily up and running. Time will tell which turns out to be accurate, assuming all goes well with the PI.

Are we having a new record for next year?? Obsession isn't good for the soul.

To be honest that was a pop at Leeds City Council and the NIMBYs who insist we can share a ground that isn't built and has no guarentees that it will in the time frame required to save us! But yes you're right its got boring now and its my last comment on the matter until the decision is made. I got involved in this sport because I had a passion for rugby league, not sodding planning applications!
