As a junior and academy he was a 1/2, moved to wing and full back which is where he's played most of the time since, but has shown he's an effective 1/2 stand off, hooker and loose foward. Better him there than Max moving from Fullback

If the agreement is that Toulouse pay for a "basic" package then, anything else is our choice and therefore, we would be liable for the cost.

Yes I know his history, but that doesn't alter the fact in attack he looks poor. I will say again, not his fault he is doing the job being asked to do. However far from an ideal solution in my opinion, but alternatives are limited at the moment.

The only thing that could be wrong is if we wanted to book better flights and our own accommodation but they refused to contribute anything amounting to what the basic cost would have been for flights. In effect paying nothing because we had booked flights not them. Hard to judge when you don’t have all the details.

Perhaps they feel a bit aggrieved about paying us the airfair whilst we are signing Internationals on 4 years deals. I can understand why. It's a ludicrous demand upon rival clubs. For Catalans it's even worse as they are not competing against semi professional clubs.

I can see Toulouse booking same day flights with unreasonable times and a long day but cheap (I would do that if I were Toulouse for an advantage). But if clubs like us wish to prepare better (as would SL clubs) then they should be able to make up the difference and still receive the payment that would be marked for the basic travel.



Again though despite what people say we don’t know the full details and we likely won’t. An agreement will be made I’d imagine with or without RFL involvement.

Exactly it's a contract. Perhaps the wording of thr contract allows toulouse to get away with this. My guess it will be changed next season if that's the case.
