I do believe that for televised games the Official RFL Timekeeper is synchronised with the broadcaster so the time on the big screen is in real time. Not sure when the RFL dispensed with Club time keepers but just another area they want to have control over, in the timekeeping case it's not necessarily a bad thing though

It does beg the question about what their fans want/expect in the longer term.
IF they gain promotion and have to play 3/4 "home" games elsewhere, their home fans are getting desperately short changed, with only 9 ? home games to watch and lets face it, they aren't going to travel to too many away games.
The climate over there isn't going to change, therefore, they will be signing up for 3/4 of a season  |

'" I don't think they care you could see them milling around all the game to the beer tents I'd thought they might of wanted to sit and understand the game a bit more |

Spot on Trinity. I agree 100%. If Rugby League is what they want then start their own league and play their games on an alternate home and away basis like the rest of us. Haven't they heard of underground heating over there? |
