He'll do a good job for you - his mistakes are what lets him down though. He's a utility player so he'll come in handy when it gets to the middle 8's - he'd be able to slot in anywhere in the back line IMO.

You do realise that Jordan Tansey is a UTILLITY back, and can play ?

Howarth is a good signing - especially if the rumours are to be believed that Washbrook is going back to Hull. As he can play loose - which in my opinion is his best position.

Maybe we could've used Howarths money to fetch Mariano back.

Pretty agree with you on this. Howarth I could at least justify with freeing up Godinet to play 6 but Tansey I can't see the point unless we're losing another back.

We may well have had plenty of agents contacting us, but assuming their players were actually available tells you something doesn't it?? ie they're not getting games elsewhere, ever thought there might be a reason for that??
