Got to agree the defending as been a shambles in last 2 month .do not think it's down to Chester I think it's more down to the help or lack of it from is.back room staff.Could any body tell me how long Dickens ext have been at the club because they are way out of there depth for S L .Been watching Wakey for 60 + years and do think that on present form we will go down.We have got the best people in charge ever , one of the best squads I have seen at B V but the people who are helping with the coaching are way out of there depth

Chester is the main man the boss he will stand or fall by his decisions not the back room staff, hel be going through the videos trying to right the wrongs but ultimately it’s results that count the bloke was an intelligent player and at the moment he can’t find the right answers and as a coach it’s soul destroying but he’s got to look inside himself and find a way, if he can’t he will know when the time is up

, his defence is pathetic to say the least, but on that one, Gildart had a gap of about 20 metres to get around Pauli, as BJB and Reece were both markers at the play the ball. Other players should have seen that and come across to assist Pauli.

Maybe you need to calm down a bit, first of all I wasn't making a comment on Jowett's tackle, it was what it was an attempted tackle end of, my remark was to the poster who said he was in no mans land, who should have said that perhaps he had made the wrong decision, as for being a crap tackle those are your words not mine I merely thought he'd made the wrong decision as it goes, though I'm not sure how lumping Lyne and Jones Bishop from a different tackle validates your argument or the fact that he missed a simple enough tackle because it was his first game back.

BJB should have been on his wing, you do understand that principle don’t you? PP shouldn’t have been there he’s far to immobile. I’ve watched it again and I can see no reason why Lyne and BJB were where they were - hence the whole thing was a shambles which is far more damaging than one player missing a tackle. Surely you get this it’s not rocket science.

Sorry mate but you're wrong. Lyne and BJB had made the previous tackle and were markers. No way they could have been on the wing. The other lazy bar stewards should have covered for them.

Jowitt's underlying problem is lack of game time. Either through injury or more usually through non selection. Bill Tupou has hardly stepped straight back where he left off has he?

I'm OK with protecting the youth and it was far from Jowitt's fault but let's not recreate the facts. It was a really poor attempt at a tackle it had lots of effort but no technique at all.
