Tbf, Shudds brought more support last season than they ever had previously and the attendance was 8794.

There is a good chance that it will be higher this season.

Both teams in good form and its too early in the season for their bubble to burst, so we should be in for a cracker.

As for the 1-17 arguement, of course each coach may wish certain opposition players were available to them but, its all about which team performs on the day.

Maybe because it is two teams who have great history's but no recent success trying to find some team lower than them so they can climb on their shoulders to feel closer to teams that have been more recently successful such as Leeds and Bradford?

Yes they did and at the time Trinity fans were very complimentary about it but if you go on their forum they've had 4 pages on the subject of how Trinity fans deny their away support from last season, what a weird lot.



On the 1-17 who would you have out of the oppo, I won't lie, I'd have Broughy and Crabtree no problems. I'd love to see how Smith would play with a someone like Brough.

They are suggesting that they've been bringing good away support for years, but we havent noticed them all because they were either stood down the side and we were all looking for them on the North terrace and couldn't see them or because they haven't been wearing maroon & yellow clothing.





On the Brough point though, don't know if him and Brough could work together in the backs - both of them like to be the playmaker. Could end up with a "too many chiefs" sccenario.

Tell them that, I've never been as complimentary about another club ever - I nearly choked typing it. Still not enough.

I think there may only be 4 Wakefield old boys playing against us on Sunday, compared to 2 ex Hudds players in ours.



Still they should see a decent crowd at BV, especially for such a small club
