The administrator has certain legal responsibilities and one of them is to try and sell the club (company) as a going concern. Any money they get from a sale and any other avenues they will pursue to realise outstanding monies and assets will be will done. The company and players are only worth what someone is willing to pay and that won't be much. What did they buy back Crusaders for, was it £19k?



So the answer is, their job is to raise as much money as they can and that will be up to them what they do to do that and with what, but I suspect the club will be sold for a small sum of money and then yes, the buyer has a clean slate and any creditors, including HMRC will get a portion of remaining monies after the administrator, bank and any other preferential creditors are paid... which I suspect means they will get nothing!

I agree with IA - that's what I think will happen too.



As for the BoD - I don't think they have anything startling up their sleeves, other than a desperate desire to get the debts discharged so they can walk away scot-free, which clearly isn't going to happen.

what will happen to belle vue,has far has i know their is a contract with carla homes which at the moment wakefield has had half the money with the rest to paid on the club finding a new home,would going into administration throw all this into doubt or would the creditors do a deal with carla homes to try and recoup some of the monies outstanding.it opens up a new can of worms if the administrator see`s belle vue has a remaining asset,i just cant see the administrator righting off all the debts when their is an exsisting deal on the table which could recoup some money.

WTRLFC (2011) Ltd. seems about right....or whatever we can call it as I'm sure there's some rule about the business name being different from the old one. Club will still be Wakefield Trinity, the company that controls it can be whatever it wants to be. Trinity Rugby Ltd. there's another one.
