I was actually quite worried when we beat Hull and then Widnes that all the "euphoria" would stop the alternate view posts. Luckily we are not out of the woods yet so the discussions go on.

If everybody agreed with me, I'd probably stop posting. Clearly that will not happen!..........but at the same time, I'm right and don't understand why you can't see it





As for Scruton, I haven't made my mind up. He gets through a lot of work both in attack and defence and is very solid. We all seem to expect more because he is a big well known lad but he seems to vary his work. Sometimes he hits hard and makes ground, sometimes he hits slow and gets a quick play the ball. He sometimes seems to jog up slowly from standing start which looks like he isn't putting the effort in but the stats clearly show over the whole game he is putting a lot of effort in.

I hope he has a big game against Bradford. He needs to nail his Trinity colours to the mast on this one. Anything less than his best game and I'll be disappointed.

I would rather we "rested" Scruton for the Bradford game.

Surely you would expect any player to come in for some criticism if they are not playing to scratch.

On current form, there are fewer players getting close to their potential, than there are under performing, hence we've had our backsides spanked for the last fortnight.

Once again, we've gone from a decent 2 games and followed up with 2 poor performances.

Agree with this. Not sure he will be in the right frame of mind given he never wanted to leave them, plus I don't think he is putting enough effort in regardless of what the stats may portray

Yes.

He has acknowledged that his form was not up to scratch and in his own words he was'useless'.

He now says past is past and is a Trinity player 'now looking forward to playing some good stuff'.

I would definitely play him - he's a professional RL player and what sort of message would he be sending out if he plays dumb in a game like this one.

This is a MUST win game, otherwise we have pressure all season, which we don't want. Surely the players will not need outside motivation for this one! all we need then is a game plan and the right players in their right position!

Actions speak louder than words Mr Scruton so lets see some action instead of words. Would I play him yes its his job and he needs to impress he is after a contract for next year be that at Wakey or another club.
