How about some positive comments. We are still knocking on the door of the top 4 with 6 games yet to play - Anything can happen as you know as a Trinity fan.
Agreed the Huddersfield game was nothing short of a shambles, dread to think what the completion rate was. Hopefully we will bounce back against Leeds on Thursday with a full house at home.
We are capable of beating anyone on our day, granted Leeds are in a good vein of form but realistically at this stage of the season you have to step up if you want to compete for the top 4.

Having calmed down (a bit) since Friday and having dared to look at the Super 8's table, it's really not all doom and gloom.
As someone once said, it's not how you go to bed at night, it's how you get up the next day and if anything remotely positive has come out of our defeat it is that, we are likely to see one or two changes for Thursday.
In some respects, nothing has changed, as we are still only a point outside the top 4 and IF and its a huge IF, we can get back on the horse, everything is still to play for.
I think Bishop needs a rest (he looked a broken man at Huddersfield) and we could go with Arundell at centre and move Reece Lyne to the wing and although we're not allowed to say it on here, I'd give Jowitt a go, possibly moving Gix into #6 (if Miller doesnt come back).
Heads up and lets get behind the boys on Thursday.

Well, I have been watching Wakefield long enough to know that so often, heavy defeats come when you expect great things and astonishing victories come when you expect a tonking. But it will take them to have cahunas of steel to get their heads together after their little collective meltdown on Friday. I hope they do. Come on Trin! |

Don't know how true it is but heard Randell arrived in UK late last week so I agree with all your changes they make perfect sense.
