AG is doing a good job in my opinion.



Some of the points on the OP are nothing to do with him so just throwing mud around to try and make a point.

If you look at the other areas around the club, some big some small there has been a major change. I've been impressed with his contribution.



The playing side is not really his responsibility, apart from the funding.

Andrew Glover is a victim of his own publicity on this one, he talked sense, he had plans and he assumed RL was a rational game...oh dear. In real terms he's done OK but he hyped things up for the best of reasons without understanding the beast. This is a club with a 40 year history of false dawns and broken promises. Expectations are low but tolerance levels are even lower, it's best at Trinity to talk up what's happen rather than be optimistic about what might but probably won't happen. So embittered are Trin fans they are primed and ready to attack any perceived failure regardless of how reasonable the excuses.



I was considered as anti Glover a few month back because I didn't go for it and believed that all we'd seen was cosmetic, which wasn't a dig it was realism. We had a great April and expectations went through the roof and here we are which didn't help.



I said at the time it's all hunky dory now but a few big losses and it will be carnage on here - first Kear - now Glover and it will only get worse. It's only a matter of time before Dolly the tea lady comes under pressure. Doesn't matter now the claws are out. People lash out on here in a way they surely can't do in real life, it's amazing really. They just want somebody to make us great again and don't want to wait.



To say Andy Glover didn't know much about RL is an understatement - If I had a small personal fortune I wouldn't waste a penny of it on WT and I love the club. It's just a hiding to nothing.



I don't think he's the messiah, I think he's out of his depth but just like previous regimes he's saved a club that been on life support for generations - for that alone he has my support, but then why wouldn't he as there was no one else mad enough to take it on.

You really write some utter cr*p - we have made absolutely no major signings under AG tenure. I don't know why, maybe there are good reasons but the fact remains we have signed virtually no one.

Hes the owner of the club everything concerning the club is to do with him.

I think that the highlighted point is absolutely bang on, and i think from day one he was aware of the power to alienate himself from the support by following the track laid by the previous regime.

Why has he talked up two events that have left many supporters feeling flat? i don't know, maybe he would like to let everyone know the score on that.

What we all need to see however is the bigger picture, and its very difficult, as supporters we have a lot of negativity, over the coach, the players, our past history and the franchise system and constant speculation it causes.

Our relative success's lead supporters to believe a little too much is available with this squad, at the start of the season i was expecting results like the one against Hull KR most weeks. The coach is picking players nobody can understand why, pressure is mounting in the franchise race and we all know where we have been left in that particular scheme.

What i aren't buying into though is your belief that you're some kind of mystic, most people on here know only too well why you "were" anti glover, and lets be honest when things have gone better than we hoped, you softened your stance, now however you are claiming divine gifts.



Lets no waste time raking over the coals, because you and i will never agree, what is important is that as a club and as a group of supporters we stay strong and turn up for the remaining games, we all knew this season was going to be a tough one and so it has proven to be, but hopefully from adversity we will emerge stronger.

July 26th will let us know where we stand and what kind of future the RFL see's fit for us to have

A message for Mr Glover, if you are reading this.

Take head from the mistakes of the past, you know that if you treat the fans with respect they will respond, that has been evident in the rise in attendances, matchday sales, memberships etc.

A clear message of intent will calm many nerves, but no false promises or you will prove to be no more than the double glazing salesman, some claim you to be.

12 months ago if you did a topic on types of people not to trust I'm sure double glazing salesman would be near top of the list, at the end of the day that is what he is. He's a long way to go before he becomes a knight in any armor. I would like to see an in depth interview with Mr Glover explaining the decision to not replace Jeffries amongst other things.

This is the point Kinley, the old regime was AG 17 years ago. They were once popular full of ideas and vigour, very popular at one point not that anyone admits it now. They lasted 17 years but slowly they lost their way and in a n attempt to match expectation eventually lost the plot and the will and then the trust. It wasn't deliberate any more than AG's shortcomings are. All it shows is what a Pandoras box this club is and just what an almost impossible club it is to run. We simply are not able to make the step up from SL survivors - we came close a few years back but couldn't sustain it.



It's not which regime it is that matters, it's the club historical failings that sucks the life it.



Basically the expectations of our fans is way beyond what the old club and now the new club are capable of satisfying. If we don't get NM this club will simply not be able to keep up in SL and will just wither away IMO. TBH it no longer matters what Kear does or Glover it's all down to Yorkcourt and the City Planners - RL is a different world these days.

I may be in the minority here but I fail to see how not replacing Jeffries was Glover's decision. As he has stated enough times in the past he knows very little about the playing side of things. Surely the decision not to replace a player falls squarely at the feet of the coaches. I an pretty certain nobody has come out and said we got rid of Jeffries on the say so of Mr Glover and are not allowed to replace him. Like it was earlier stated he apparently released Millard too, but if my memory serves Millard went whilst we were in administration.



Seriously people are screaming for these quality signings but who are they???



How do we as a club attract players to come join us when they may well be leaving again come the end of the season?



Although the jury is still out on our current regime. Ultimately franchising is the reason there is no activity on the player recruitment front.



We would all love to see the cheque book opened and players signed, but that is because we are talking as supporters and as we are all aware supporting the club and running the club are two very different beasts. Ask yourself this, if you were running the club and had no idea where the future lie (because it wasn't your decision). What would you do??



I have never run a business but even I would guess it doesn't make good economical sense to throw money at something just for the sake of it.

First thing I would do is win the fans trust which he has not done, honesty is the only option in my opinion, was he honest in his build up for the meeting? Was he honest in the build up to the signing of semi? Has he been honest in the "I am mr detail" statement, I am overall happy with the changes he has made I'm not happy about the tell fans what they want to hear, it didn't work for Ted, it will not work for Mr Wright and it will not work for mr Glover, all good things come to an end, John Kear 12 months ago could have had a contract for life here with mist supporters but know I'm guessing at least 60-70% would like him to walk, if Mr Glover would like to see out another few years I would suggest he starts being open and honest about where the club are heading.

The thing with the franchise carry on is that we are in limbo until we get told yes or no, so he cant really say where we are going because actually he doesn't know.
