I'm not buying this yet. I think I'd feel a lot happier if Yorkcourt were making a public announcement confirming their intention but as usual they are silent.

If they have good intentions why not say publicly what they are; I think they owe the public of Wakefield that at least, instead of hiding behind other people.

This news puts more pressure on the council/York Court to build community stadium and community facilities and if they don't strengthens our hand if legal proceedings were to happen that's how I see it.

Indeed it would - the further down the road this goes the stronger our case becomes. Especially when you remember Mr Box stated he would force Yorkcourt to accept a new Unilateral agreement not 6 weeks ago!

We activated the six month termination clause in the agreement. This is not unsubstantiated make believe like much that is posted on here but is indisputable fact.

The reason I posted this was to correct an assumption that we were being forced out when in fact 88M don’t need to do anything we have already confirmed our intention to leave.

Well if that happens we play at Dewsbury until community stadium is ready for start of 2020 season.

Which brings us back to my earlier post on this thread.



If we leave Belle Vue for Dewsbury, or anywhere else for that matter, without a cast iron signed and sealed deal to return within a defined timescale then we greatly risk being the next Swinton or Oldham.



I don’t know the full facts anymore than everyone else on here but if we have voluntarily triggered the notice to quit Belle Vue, as it seems we have, then from the outside staring in it looks reckless.
