James Elston did say that Tim Smith was in his office the other day

I was looking at post on VT about who they've signed& they might be 'splashing the cash' but when I look at their signings so far, non of them really make me think, oh I wish we'd got him.

Where signing better squad players which we been short off because around Easter we fall to bits as you knowl but now starting to have cover. We need a class stand off to replace Rangi but where we going to get another one of him god knows we might come in for Tim Smith I know you got reduce your wage bill so we might do business but it will effect your season ticket numbers so it proberly not happen.

Looking at Cas's signings i think they are just spending Rangi's salary on as many players as they can. Not really improving there first choice team, but certainly improving the squad. There are a couple i would have been interested in to add depth to our squad.



Love him or hate him Chase is gonna take some replacing mind.

And if we did, we wouldn't be offloading Smith to ease the problem.

I think (unless someone can provide a link) that it's yet another myth that's been peddled but the longer it rolls the bigger the snowball gets.

The Elston interview he said we will be spending same amount as last year on salaries. With regards to Cas signing all players without a good half back like chase will not make much difference as even we have noticed with one half missing this season we have looked in affective at times.

Gibson will be good back up for their threequarters, can't imagine he'd be a starting centre

Webster and Shenton are our starting centres. Gilmour and Gibson will cover.
