| Smith was very impressive, was the best by a mile of the halfbacks to get a go, followed by Wildie and Wood lagging behind i'm afraid. Really don't see what he offers in the halves i'm afraid, especially at halfback. Of the young 'uns I thought most of them impressed with Kay doing himself the most good. He looked sharp and eager and showed a good turn of pace.

| Wildie and Wood weren't good enough for me today, they had a real chance to step up and run the game in the absence of Tim Smith and failed to grasp it. Wildie has had a lot of chances now and perhaps should be moved on. Kay impressed, Maskill has a lovely pass on him and showed character to come back from a few errors. Lee Smith had one of his best games for us. It worries me how clueless we look in attack without T. Smith.
Full credit to Hemel played their hearts out, legs gave in at the end which allowed us to pull away.

Wildie was better than Wood IMO. Wood's performance convinced me that he will not make the step up to a SL half back, aside from the step and break right near the end I was quite disappointed with his performance in a game where he really should have stood out.

| Reece lyne did himself no favours seems to have lost confidence. He certainly wud not be in my squad for widens on that performance
Kay was good and maskill got some good quick distribution out.
Also thought Molloy went well and as others have said smith was mom. Seriously think he shud be stand off and take over kicking duties

| Agree Smith man of match though I think it went to James Molloy even though there was no announcement. Credit to Hemel they defended well and had a good kicking game. wish no 11 had scored would have brought the house down

| Did Smith switch between FB and SO? Attack at SO and defend at FB?

He was everywhere! And his goalkicking was the most accurate I've seen in a long time. You can only beat what's in front of you and I thought all our fringe players did pretty well, especially the young ones like Kay and Maskill who I've never seen before. Good to see them in action.

| Thought Hemel did very well and agree with what has been said in that the fitness told in the latter stages of the game. Thought most of the fringe players did well, Matty Wildie did better in the halfs than Kyle Wood. Wildie seemed to keep getting players through gaps where as Woody just kept giving the inside pass. Overall agree with Agars comments was very disappointed with Wood and Lyne who I don't think ever backed himself to go past their defence on the edges but at leased we are through to the next round wonder if we can get a non SL team in the next round.

| Will be lucky. 12 out of 16 in the draw will be SL clubs. Only Saints and Cas likely to miss out. Settle for someone like London at home.
