Actually, none of the current Super League teams got in through actions on the pitch - they all qualified by being granted a license 3 years ago.

This is true but at the start of that season everyone knew that Catalans were immune from relegation and everyone knew that the lowest placed team apart from Catalans would be relegated. |

Same regarding Widnes too. Everyone knew the bottom two places in the 2005 season would result in relegation. No one was shafted. |

That could be the technicality 
They should have really just promoted another team and sent both down because Gateshead was voluntary, and that shouldn't have really saved Leigh imo. |

Get a grip man,We had our spot taken from us for catalan in 2005 or the same as, we never finished bottom.We have had 2 grand finals 3 nothern rail cup apperances always finish in the play offs .won the nrc twice in that time.Our unders 23s have just topped the super league,We have a fantastic 13,500 all seater stadium,Great finances.Sounds like sour grapes to me.And tell me why should u stay up then whats so great about wakefield at the moment ?  |
