And chief executive James Elston has confirmed the club is hopeful of having new owners before their season opener against Castleford at Millennium Magic. Elston told People Sport: “We should have some further news this week.

I'm pretty certain a man of Steve Parkins stature would not be up for 'pulling together'. The present regime obviously feel they have a position to play in the future of the club.

If there is any trace of the present regime - and you know where not talking the about the Community Team here - in place after the next few weeks, then the club will be in major trouble. People WILL stop going, and then the club (and some hangers on) can moan about those who don't care enough...but it'll be like a dying relative, sometimes you have to let the memories be good ones, and not bad ones.

Thing is we don't actually know for sure who the investors are, its all just speculation and conjecture. And if one of the investors is a Ted connected company then why would any of the others want to go into partnership with someone who has got us into thiss mess in the first place??

Indeed. If this club is to survive there needs to be a completely fresh start with everyone pulling together. We need the stayaways to come back, not add to them.
