BTW thanks to the SWAG members for their continued efforts, its one thing coming on here with suggestions, but another, spending many hours lobbying for the Club, we all love.

When I am told something in confidence I try to keep that promise. Once others have broken the story then I feel free to comment.



This story will not end in a great 'one-off' announcement, but rather in a series of announcements as the pieces fall into place.



To this point the pieces are:

The site.

The developer.

WMDC.

The community trust sub-committee with Sir Rodney.



We now need to complete the deal for the various funding sources / agree the timeline / get planning permission - then build it!



All, for now, is going well!

Make that three, very positive and honest meeting. Even on the playing front they were very relaxed and saw the losing run as an unfortunate blip in form during a season in which we have basically over performed to what was expected. In other words we are on track to push for top 8 but not in a position to be certain, which I think is what most realistic fans knew anyway.

I had a short chat with Sir Rodney the other day (Monday) and without being too specific he very much said the same as TRB.

Is the proposed site a greenfield site?

Those of you with knowledge of stadium building - what is a reasonable time to go from this 'declaration of intent' to actually building a stadium?
