Hicks was rubbish.

The offsides were a joke and Salford were bossing him. The worst reffing display I have seen this year but when I saw he was in charge and Childs on the touch line I didn't expect anything.

Get over yourself, we got some tough calls and over all Salford got away with way more than us.



He was a factor in todays loss - but to blame him alone would be foolish. However it's equally as foolish to deny it, which is a speciality of yours.



Can I ask why you actually bother with Trinity? Your idea of supporting the team and club seems a million miles from everyone else - I think you're loving this season I really do.

Hicks was awful and came up with some shocking calls.

He seemed to not want to make any calls until he got "a word" in his ear piece.

I'm not denying anything, Hicks got things wrong for us, but also Salford. I'm more bothered about our own performances rather than blaming the referees for our blunders (although it is concerning we've had the "junior" refs for most of the season).



Why I bother with Trinity? So I offer opinions different to yours and because of that I shouldn't bother.



As for loving this season you couldn't be more wrong - I can't wait for the end so we can get rid of the deadwood and start again.

far from jumping on the band wagon, if its not bad enough trying to repair a poor knit side we have to put up with days like that from an official, its no wonder the crowds are leaving and not coming back, what's the point in watching if we know we have no chance in the beginning

Paterson got away with so much it was untrue. Sly niggly hits, and so much lying on and holding down. Can't put all the blame on Hicks though, our downfall was a lack of smart play in the first half. If we'd played the 1st half like we layed the 2nd we would have won that game.

Never known a crowd whinge at a referee as much in my life. It was becoming embarrassing at times, particularly as Hicks was consistent (whether good or bad) for both teams. There were plenty of poor calls which went against Salford too, the worst one was the blatant two-man ball strip on Theo Fages only for Hicks to give it a knock on. Wakefield were also off-side plenty and were rightly penalised. Also, how many times did Godinet dummy the play of the ball in order to milk a penalty for off-side?



You cant blame the referee for yesterdays result.
