Horo was leaving at the end of the season and we've got a new quota player coming in. Everyone assumed Pauli was for the full time chop but looks like Horo was ready to go home early. Hope we get a chance to say goodbye to him on Saturday

Don’t think there is any trouble. He probably wanted to go and if rumours are true there is someone coming the other way

It's a good thing not a sign of the old days.



Saying that, Horo has done a really good job for us and leaves with reputation well and truly intact. His ability to play anywhere got us through a really tough period.

I like to ensure that everyone knows an exiting player has suddenly become rubbish - but it's hard to do that with Horo; he's one of those lads that just does his job - whatever job the coach asks of him - in a fairly understated and efficient way; I can't think of a time when he hasn't put in 100% when he's been on the field.



Awful 'tache though - so that'll have to do.

To add to his playing ability Horo was also a leader, I think we lack natural on field leaders. Kirmond is a fantastic club captain, his efforts promoting all things Trinity off the field are fabulous, on the field he is not so dynamic ; more of a leader by example. Miller on the the pitch looks like he could not lead a horse to water, his body language and demeanor when we are under the cosh are terrible. Horo was the player that had strong words, that attempted to rally and cajole his team mates onto bigger and better things. I liked Horo, his ability to read plays and make correct decisions in defense was excellent . He will be missed, that said the new chap has youth on his side

Contract not being renewed, I guess he either wants out early or we have asked him to move on so we can being in next year's signing with a financial pay off. Cant say I've ever thought Horo offered anything above what you get from a hard working fed trained player so wasn't really justified holding a quota spot.

Appeared to stand out more when at Catalan and so didn’t really come to what I’d hoped for.
