Article in RL Express and League Weekly yesterday that Rocky is eager to be given a contract beyond this season. Let's hope the Board grant his wishes. He know longer wishes to be a journeyman. Get the lad signed up before someone else jumps in.

Will be signed on before the season is out I'm sure. Certainly improved as the year has gone on to earn it. Rumours are he took a pay cut from his Leigh contract to come here so maybe he'll be looking for a bit more this time

I'm sure I read an interview where Ryan himself revealed he had taken a substantial pay cut to get a gig for this season after Leigh's relegation.



Get the lad signed up, he's only gonna get better!

Having been something of a nomad until arriving at Trinity and not being played in his favoured position, he'd be well placed getting his head down and showing the world just what he can do.

A player not wanted by ,Wigan, Cas and Leigh, he seems to have finally found where he should be and lets hope that he and Trinity can find something that both are happy with.

He seems a good fit at Trinity and it would be a pity if he cant reach agreement with the club over a new contract.

We'd end up with another Aussie half and he would probably move around again, not settling.

Would be a massive +ve to get Ryan tied up for a few seasons going forward. Fingers crossed.

To be fair I am also "eager to negotiate" my contract with my employer. That story doesn't actually tell you anything.

It's a story when the club and player are somewhere in the same ballpark for negotiating a contract.

If Leigh were paying over the odds, (that's an IF) we shouldn't just pay the same.



But I'd like him to be signed up.

It goes without saying that he has improved the team compared to where Finn was last time he played. He still has a way to go to be as good as Finn at his best but he shows every sign of doing that.

Like ryan alot i really do and up to last week i was desprate for him to sign on but v saints we lacked everything we need from a quality 7 which as been said on here. Now not sure if hes the right man ti be our starting 7 week in week out ill get slated but speaking truth we seem to have an issue on here if there youngish and from the area there the best but its not always the case

Think against Saints Ryan wasn’t the only player who had an indifferent game .He will only get better as he gains more game time with the team ,and with finny showing him the ropes next season we could have a little cracker in the making.And his goal kicking is second to none .

Would be a great signing for you assuming he comes back OK from the injury.

Had some very good games for Cas but saw his opportunities limited and left even though on a good contract at Cas.

If he had stayed I think he would have had a great run due to Gales absence and look how well young Jake Trueman has done instead

At the time he left the wording seemed to allude to him eventually coming back to Cas but I'm not sure he'd want to with realistically 4 halves in front of him now. Very fast lad, check out his length of the field effort for Cas v Leeds at 2017 magic.
