Did anyone else see the news report this morning on BBC ( Look North ).

It talked about the Cas ground and that today is the announcement of planning persmission etc for their ground at Glasshoughton.

It then showed a shot of their stadium now, then the new one, then theirs again, but hang on a minute, the one they showed at the end was not theirs it was ours ( taken from on the balcony in the hospitality boxes ).

It then changed back again to their ground but how stupid is that? Unless they know something we don't

I saw it too. It just goes to show how sloppy and lazy some journalists are

About as good as sky sports saying that the win for Cas last weekend took them to zero points in the table

With all this mixing up of pictures and results etc, do you think that the Rfl have merged Wakey and Cas and forgot to tell us

And sent the Sky money to Huddersfield!

Why shouldn't they get our money, they've got most of our players!

Fair point, on Sunday i there were Grix, Brough, Mason, Ferguson, Kirmond all players who have played for Wakey who are now at Huddersfield.



But if you look at it the other way, we had Johnson, Griffin, George and Korky who have all played for Huddeersfield.

I have it on good authority* that the reason both clubs have recently started talking confidently about staying at their current grounds for 2012, is that they've brokered a deal with the RFL: the deal will see both clubs given a franchise this time around, in exchange for starting the merger process, working towards an application for the 2015 franchise as a merged club, playing out of NM.
