If we get bad news on Tuesday should we?

I have gone for option 2 mainly because if we do take legal action and loose then I think we could kiss goodbye to ever having a chance of getting back into SL ever again.

Option 2 - go down with dignity.

Didn't all clubs sign up to an agreement as part of the sky deal preventing them from taking legal action v the RFL/SL??

Someting on the lines of "if you don't sign this agreement that no legal action will be taken v sky/rfl/sl, you won't get any money"?

Or was that just champ clubs? Or is my memory going.....

If Crusaders get in at our expense purely because they're Welsh and we're English we could always report the RFL to the race relations board.

Waste money which can be spent on improving the club as a whole (which should have been done before) and give it to lawyers? Great idea.

Nope, no point. Invest the money in the club and move on.

For the 18th time, a contract is not binding if the terms are judged to be unfair; for example, if you work for me and your contract of employment says that I am entitled to punch you in the testicles every time you are off sick, I am unlikely to be able to enforce that contract.



That said, I'd probably say that we should take the decision on the chin - it would be suicidal and expensive to challenge the RFL and the outside world cares so little about the sport, that any perceived unfairness would not cause even a ripple of outrage. It'd be different if the governing body of football behaved like the RFL mind you - that would be front page headlines.
