The rule changes about referees want tweaking. When Fred Lindop was a referee we could never have him at Wakefield as he was from the city. How come Campbell from Warrington can ref them in a game and to add to the fact he was utter rubbish. The Warrington line were stood in front of him most of the game, he missed several forward passes and their first try was a joke as there were hands and bodies under the ball. The sin binnings were also pathetic. He must have come with them on the bus and feared for a lift home. Nevertheless well done to the lads they deserved it and are looking like a top class side.

I thought he was fine. All the sin bins were correct in my honourable opinion.

How can sin binning an injured player who can't get up, be correct?



I also thought the Kirmond yellow card was very harsh, both looked like the trigger happy naivety of a very inexperienced ref.

And don't get me started about 'not square' at the play of the ball and not being on-side, shocking, but he didn't seem to get much assistance from his more experienced colleagues at times!

We had some decisions go our way too. The odd forward pass certainly.



He was so injured he managed to jump to his feet once sorted and walk off to the bin.

He made a great tackle and saved the game with that and other plays but he held on too long and was bound to get pinned by ref.

It's not unusual to see an injured player finally get to his feet ( I don't know that he jumped to his feet though) and walk off.



You seem to be taking the view that he faked injury in order to hold onto the player, the ref obviously took the same view but that's a dangerous precedence to set, IMO he was too hasty with the card.

It looked like BJB hobbled off the field from where we were.

Same as Penny laying on when injured, contradiction or what.

How anyone can defend campbell i dont know bishop did take a knock he had to have treatment the ref gave him a card while still down warrington where never onside slowing us down at play of ball but not getting penalised not to mention the high shots
