Sporting Chance Clinic is a great concept. Set up by Tony Adams the Arsenal/England footballer
I hope he gets the help he needs.
I don't know whether it is down to Brian Smith but this sounds like another change that an experienced leader coming in has initiated.
He could have just been left to slowly decline so this is good for Owen and as a much more secondary benefit, to the club.

Fair play to Mr Owen, takes a big man to admit his problems and seek treatment in such a public arena. We should all be wishing him a speedy recovery. He's gone well this season IMO.

Shocked to hear this but fully support Richard in making an honest and brave decision although obviously I don't know the circumstances.
I wonder if the State Of Mind weekend was a factor? If so, then full credit. This is showing that awareness of this is working and has to be applauded.
