| Ah apologies, I thought we had Rourke for another year.
Agree on Tchamambe - next year he's probably out on loan at Batley with a couple of possible first team appearances.
I'm not so sure on Vagana as a prop. He definitely doesn't run like one, and while it's massively coachable, his wrestle isn't great and he often gets turtled for such a big lad. I'd want him running wider, as he's so difficult to stop one or even two on one. I like Matt Whitley, but I don't know why he'd leave Saints as he's also a boyhood supporter.
I'm not a Tyrell Sloan fan. His defence is wesh. He made good metres at fullback but not anymore. He is rapid, but that doesn't cover his faults. I'd sooner have someone heavier, more explosive, and an aerial threat. Sounds audacious, but someone like Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, Sam Stonestreet or even Nick Cotric.
As for British wingers, there aren't many realistic targets that would improve us. Adam Swift (32 now), Josh Charnley (34), Jason Qareqare?
There are a handful of British props who we could target who would push for a spot in the 17, but no world beaters. Walmsley (35 now), Jack Ormondroyd (works hard but limited), Justin Sangare (the opposite), George King (not sure why he'd leave Giants but you never know). The outlier is Oliver Wilson, who we could probably tempt away from Fartown - he's technically good with room for improvement, got his best years ahead of him.

| I’ve watched Cas a few times this season and I’ve been impressed with Josh Simm on the wing who can also play centre.
Hes out of contract and I think he would be a good option for backline cover. I think he would be ideal to take Russell’s spot for 2026.

If last night showed nothing else is we need more quality rather than cover. Myers, Tchamambe, Walmsley and Johnstone cover wing spot, Rourke, Scott, Pratt and Hall centre.

I can’t disagree with that. Though there is potential in Myers I think he needs more full time training and to work on leg drive, strength and kick defence. If TJ isn’t fit (we need him imo) then perhaps Tchimambe will get a shot vs Salford and I think his speed would be a huge assett. Salford struggle badly on the edges every time I see them.

He did himself no favours today watching Burgess coast in for three simple scores.
