£120 in May on Credit card was a great deal x2 (Think i paid £10 in interest charges over 3 months) No brainer.

Purely playing devils advocate. What about those who don't have one, don't want a credit card or can't get a credit card.
Let me put this on record, I have no issue with the price of the season tickets. For me, it doesn't make financial sense to get one, but I'll be there when I can. Do I think the club have done enough to market it, No. Could more have been done, yes.

Must be a good APR % mate? I suppose if you pay it off pretty quickly it's savy, but otherwise it becomes an expensive ticket. Depends on your circumstances I suppose.

| Quite right 'Dominance' and for the very reason that everyone appears to be saying is the cause of low Season Ticket sales. Simply to make it easier for the fans to pay for their ticket over a period of time instead when money is always tight - Christmas!
But, if I remember correctly, when the offer of monthly payments was aired everyone was concerned about the reason for tickets being offered on that basis and 'The Prophets of Doom' really had their day adding 2 & 2 together to get 5!
It's a pity that more supporters (if any) didn't take-up the offer in June.
Had I still been in Yorkshire I would have started my Standing Order when it was offered but, unfortunately, I'm no-longer live within daily striking distance of Cougar Park.

| I think I mentioned the word planning
Pay on a credit card at the right time of the month and over a 3 month period you would only accrue interest on one of those months.
Get a credit card (if you can - point taken) so you are guaranteed your money back if things go belly up, as so many prophets of doom thought they would over Summer. I for one was willing to put money into the club when they needed it.
If watching the best sport in the world for less than £10, £12 or £14 a game (depending on which deal you get) is not value for money then go watch a set of Prima donna cheating "sportsmen" in the Premier league (you may just be able to afford about 5 matches at some of the less fashionable clubs)

| What's the big deal?
It's Christmas next week, folk have priorities.
I haven't bought mine yet, I went away at the beginning of November, then both my parents' 50th birthdays fell within 4 days of each other, I bought some concert tickets, and now Christmas.
I don't have a Credit Card, I could get one but I don't want one.

Couldn't agree more, the economy is not great to say the least but if people wanted a ticket at a great offer of £120 then they would have found a way, friends, family, credit, as you said, the interest I paid on the credit card over 6 weeks was well worth it and it provided the club with cash at a time when income was low due to the RFL not paying up when they were supposed to!
Support your club as they support you with good offers instead of the usual doom and gloom that can be read on this forum at times
That said, I do sympathise with anyone who has become victim to the state of the economy, more so at this time of year and wish them and their families well

The club are 400 season tickets down. That is a big deal.
The bills have to still be paid or we know what happens.

If it's that big a deal why aren't the club making any effort whatsoever to contact those who haven't renewed yet and ask them why they haven't yet and if they intend to?

| I was a season ticket holder last season but have not received anything from the club about renewing etc. Maybe this is an area the club could do better? I don't think there is any reason to panic though as there could be many reasons for the poor uptake. I still feel the support come day 1 of the season will be the same, if not better than last season.
If what I understand is correct, maybe those who came on here last season saying watch this space with their doom and gloom may well be eating some humble pie now.
