The KO time was changed & I didnt know.'"
Andy, Problem is that there will be fans of both teams will not get to hear about the k/o change. Contrary to popular opinion, not everyone has the internet, and this news has come out =#FF0000AFTER our two local papers have been published. I reckon we are going to upset quite a few, who will turn up for a 3 pm k/o!

If they were really looking to please all rugby fans and not just their own Leigh would have moved it to late morning like some other clubs, then at least we could have got home to watch it

| 11.30 am kick off would mean we'd have to set off at around 9.30/10am to get there.
I dread to think how many people would set off still inebriated from the night before.
It makes you wonder, why this hasn't been planned well in advance. The World Cup was drawn a month before the Championship fixture list came out. Why couldn't a either/or scenario been agreed where if we won the group of got knocked out we played on the Sunday. If we finished 2nd we played Saturday night and it be published on official fixture lists accordingly.

Ah! Yes! The same RFL who organised a international match in the middle of a round of Super League at a ground with no railway station within 5 miles of it.
You're right

| Atherton Railway station = 4 miles away
Daisy Hill Railway Station = 4 miles away
Newton Railway station = 4 miles away
all on major bus routes
can't see a problem myself?
realistically who would travel by rail anyway?

| OK I'll give you the 5 miles away bit, but there are people like myself who don't drive who sometimes have to use public transport to get to away games.
Besides it's more fun than a car journey because you can have a few on the way.

The No Rail link was just a smokescreen for fans wanting any old excuse not to attend the International at LSV. With the exception of yourself, who by your own admission travels by public transport, I wonder how many others do this ? Not including derby matches but games with a reasonable distance to travel I`d hazard a guess around the 10/20% mark.
