Now its confirmed England play sunday at 3pm I wonder if Leigh will ask for kick off time to be changed to keep and get fans to game, if club is approached I hope they think about it simply because as far as I am concerned kick off should still bet at 3pm.



We who are going will mostly be botherd about cougars first soccer 2nd. Te players would clearly have the choice but me personally 3pm is best.

I believe now that England are playing 3pm on Sunday, the Leigh game will be moved to 1pm.



This will allow Leigh and Cougars fans to watch both and also the players.



If they kept it at three they will loose hundreds of fans.



I expect the club will be putting something out tomorrow.

Common sense has to prevail here.



There will be many people like myself who will want to see both games, especially if we get the Germans.



The kick off has to be moved otherwise Leigh could end up with a drasticly reduced attendence.

I agree with you 'girl power'. We actually went to Asda this afternoon - we felt there would be more excitement than watching 'roundball'! We'd obviosly missed the best bit, (i.e. a GOAL) as we only saw the last five minutes, which appeared to consist of England players attempting to compete with a corner flag!

The KO time was changed & I didnt know.

Just had a look on the Leigh website and the ko time is confirmed for 1pm

Anyone who wants to stay to watch the Soccer game I would advice them to go to the Leigh East ARLFC clubhouse after the 'main' game, the beer is cheap, you will be welcomed and its only a very short amble from the main LSV stadium (it is on the same site).

Noddy is right it is a confirmed 1pm KO.

We are playing like a load of strangers at the minute so you have a good chance of getting the three points on offer.



Oh and dont forget its an all ticket venue so you have to pay for the tickets at the ticket office at the front of the stadium - yes I know its a pain in the rear but the policy isn't anything to do with the Rugby Club, its a council run stadium, and the stewards are jobsworths (well some are) as well.

Further to Fred Parky's post, you can park for free, anywhere on the LSV site - =#FF4000but not on the roads, where you will get fined/clamped. Any of the car parks will be fine, including the hotel - Park Inn.
