Here's my take on things.



I don't hate any particular team or spectators. 99% of all RL speccies I have met are decent people who want their team to win.



Here's a bit of advice, for all fans particularly at away games. If you go for a beer or a cup of tea pre match go and say hello to the opposing fans. Have a bit of a chat with them. It's amazing, they actually talk to you, and you learn things. A player you may not rate (or know) will crop up in the conversation and they will say "he does this or that for the team" and when you watch you may hmmm I was wrong. And I'll tell you what else happens the next time you play that team, that person will come over and have RL discussion with you and your mates.



Try it some time, you'll see it works. There are more good people than bad people in this world and it's about time it was recognised.

Ps Cant understand some of your fans saying a wire loss for the sake of wigan ... to be honest i cant see us catching you for the league leaders shield now anyway weather we beat saints or not ... well done on a great league campaign and bring on the playoffs .

On ferry on the way back from ireland and have taken time to read all the

comments with plently of guiness down.



I agree with pretty much everything that has been said.



I'm not spitting my dummy out this time cos i've probably lost it already in

that first post! but the reason i spat my dummy out was because of all

the stuff about crap fans and a crap rugby club where you guys don't have

respect.



I'll defend my team and my fans like yourselves and I accept a lot of

what's been said on here but to have a number of your fans calling us

false fans and a proper team; doesn't sit well.



You'll find, (myth like) that most wire fans have a hell of a lot of respect

for wigan's fans and history, and a side with mgwire at the helm this season.

I hate the fact children still die of starvation and disease....I dislike any opposing team..but its sport..to say I hate Saints, Wigan, Leeds...way over the top.
