Agreed, and I'd like to think that its very unlikely that the people who did it are actually into their rugby enough to post on an internet forum.
We have idiots the same as any club unfortunately, I witnessed Wigan 'fans' fighting each other in large numbers at Old Trafford, one of them, who had his own kids with him, propped himself up against me as he threw a punch and dived 3 rows forward to attack someone. |

Where did you park your car? There are a few dodgy areas near the ground where cars get vandalised by locals, even when it's not a match day. |

Unfortunately this is creeping into society more and more not just into our great game hope the 2 culprits are found and dealt with but i feel if they do get the pair that did it they will just get a caution off the police. |

I agree this is where the RFL should get tough. I am sure the Saints club would ban them but it needs the RFL and police to get a database on these so called fans and ban them from all grounds for life. And it should also be a shared database for all sporting clubs Rugby League. Union and football ban them from all live sporting events |

As one post above states 'knowing where it took place, and ctv all around there, then hopefully the police will be able to identify the attackers, and prosecute them' ....it is no use expecting forum board members to pick them out without a clue as to who they are. The police will surely be the best option and hopefully will be thus apprehended and punished. ......grannyfan Cindy

How on earth is this enforcable though? I hope the lad and his son are ok, and that the police manage to trace these two prats. |

Hopefully the police will catch those involved and the St Helens club will for once show some morals and do the right thing.
