5th and 6th both get home draws in the first week of the play-offs.



I think we can easily win all of our home games and that would be enough to get us in the play-offs, I can honestly see us getting to the challenge cup final and maybe winning it with us getting to the final week of the play offs and this ending up quite a succesful season.

That last part is being rather generous.

It would be quite bizarre if we did given current form and how would that square with all the anger, disappointment and annoyance this season has served up so far?



Would you say such an outcome as you suggest would mean were are after all a good side and a well coached team?

Not suggesting anything only that I think we will come good at the end of the season like we normally do and with us still being in the challenge cup I really believe we can win it.

I was asking you if you thought the [ioutcome [/iyou suggested would mean we were a good team and well coached not that you were suggesting it would automatically mean that (if that us how you took my post).



I myself would find it hard to accept such an outcome was doing anything other than papering over the cracks. So even a CC win IMO won't fool a lot of people that we have a good well coached side. I suspect quite a few would consider it a fluke given the way we have played. That is not to say such a win would not be a great day out and a welcome change from the recent barren years but I think for a lot of people such success isn't good enough on its own. It needs to be accompanied by a good league season which is after all the majority of what we spend out time watching.

It has been said on here many times that we are good in one off games and they do paper over the cracks. Over the past 2 seasons if we had been more consistant throughout the year we would of had enough steam to get to Old Trafford IMO.

Not anymore there not.
