The 100 stobart trucks will be few and far between on the motorways of Britain considering they have a fleet of 2250.



We should have taken the betfair money and used the St Helens route of plastering buses with pictures of superleague players and adverts for tickets.



We could have got 1000's of buses all over the shop in Wigan, St Helens, Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, Leeds, Hull, Bradford, Castleford, Widnes etc etc for less money i'd guess then we'd have recieved from Betfair.



The more I think of this deal the less I like it.

This deal isn't about advertising in the heartlands, they already know about SL, it is up to you , the individual clubs to get them to support you



This is about increasing the TV audience, and ultimatley the amount of SKY money you recieve

If indeed, all the SL trucks are the white version of the Stobart trucks which do cut us up each day on the roads, they are the chilled lorries.. and on the channel 5 documentary about the company they travel over England and abroad aswel as they take English food to our troops.

Comon sense to use the ' chillers', it would be cheaper and easier to livery them up than curtainsiders

You are suggesting that the clubs would have used the 50/70 K each on marketing ?



No chance

But haven't we already signed a long term deal with Sky for a set amount of money? If so then how's this going to help us? I said last night to my mate I don't like the fact that Sky Sports is all over it because it just seems like an advert to get more people to tune in as you say. If thats the case let Sky pay for it!!



To me Sky and Stobarts must be laughing all the way to the bank with this deal but are we? I'm really not sure.

Thats impressive. Anything to spread the good game is surely a good thing.

Again i am assuming we have an increased deal with Sky which will have paid for the advertising of the game so the money has come in from them rather than Stobart hopefully for the first year only !



Sky seem to be driving this rather than the RFL as it is they that will really benefit from this with possible increased subscriptions to there service, hopefully theres also a kick back for the RFL



Who knows its all speculation but i honestly cant see the game being sold up the river somehow
