I just can't see Wire or Leeds choosing to play each other in the semi.Unless Wire hammer Leeds or vice versa.I think Hudds inept performance last night and chocker tag will make them the choice for the club call.

Saints will put 40 on Hull KR and I wouldn't be surprised if they turned over Leeds/Wire the week after too.

No doubt, our next match wil be at home to the losers of the Wire/Leeds game.

Who We get in the semi is beyond our control, let them worry about us, they have to come to the DW and listen to us encourage the players.

All we can do is give support, the rest is up to others.

It's Pats last home game before he goes home, Possibly Sam and Mossops last home game in a wigan shirt.

Lets give them a good send off.

And lets hope they take a leaf from Huddersfield's books and make it a tenner. A full DW would truly be an 18th man.

It would be great if they did and we'd get a cracking crowd on but we won't. We haven't even fine it for CC ties against part time teams under Lenagan.

Seems an odd comment given that it's been under IL when we've seen the big promotion games, etc.

Except that the money from attendances in playoff games doesn't go directly to the club.



The fact that we've got the week off will help the crowd as it's potentially our last game of the season, evening kickoff on a normal day, like we're used to. None of this Thursday/Monday nonsense. If it's Saints/Wire, I'd expect to be well over 10,000.

We do and he can't be knocked for that but that's always in the weekly rounds. We don't promote any cup games or play off games and just leave the prices at a pretty standard level.



What happens with the cash? If it just goes in a central pot I presume that's the reason why we don't seem to put the effort in and let things take care of themselves.

Let me try and get this straight...

If Leeds beat Wire tonight they get the club call. They cant select Wigan as we beat Huddersfield.

And in theory if Wire and Huddersfield win next week it will be the top four teams from the regular rounds.

Traditionally the club call team chooses the lowest ranked team as according to the table.

So Leeds would choose Wire in this instance...

Is that right?
