Fielden's improvement is only temporary. He has to face Willie Mason next season.





He winced everytime the name 'Mason' was mentioned on Sky last week , even when it was Keith being referred to.





Good game by Fielden last night though.

Back to his best IMO. Simply superb! Should play for England now Peacock is out.

I give Mason 4 months before hes back sunning it in aussie.

Stuart Fielden is back.

And some..He's in the form of his life (Stupid Offloads aside) keep going Stu..

TBH I hope he doesnt get picked for England it will be a waste of time anyway. Its not like he needs the experience, saying that how much more confidence would that bring him. Screw it, you know what to do Mcnamara!

I say give him a go. hes playing like he used to, he'd do well in the England set up.

he'd be confident and now hes got 2 years, be willing to show us what he can do

I can see him having a very good tournament should he be picked. Who better to replace Peacock based on current form?

As a Wigan fan first & a England / GB fan second I hope Stuart turns his back on international rugby and focuses on his Wigan career. I know it would be a big honour for him to play rep footy again but we need a full fit Fielden for next season.



As for Mason the guy is a joke and has been since he knocked big Stu out. He won't last 5 mins in Hull. The only reason he has come to hull is because on the $$$ and Fitz & O'Meely are over there. He will be back in Oz quicker than you can say Matt Orford.

He really isn't in the form of his life.



Played very well though and good to see another decent prop option fro England.
