 Yes, I did notice his rather desperate attempts. His evidence/charge nonsense was pure strawman fallacy, and I think 3 opportunities to explain himself is more than enough.
Still, it looks like the RFL Disciplinary Tribunal, unlike Worzel, understood "unaceptable risk," so I think we'll draw a line under this particular one.

Totally agree - that makes it now 4 Wigan player suspensions so far this season.
One could argue that each is just about merited - although equally all could have been let off.
What is so unjust is the number of similar incidents, whether they be chicken wing tackles (Lima), running in to join a melee, (Sam) leading with a forearm into the tackle (Joel) or joining in a tackle as 3rd man low down (Lima) involving other teams' players that don't seem to have been picked up by the RFL, Certainly they have not been punished. How was Radford's disciplinary record superior to Lima's?
And what is worse, blatant foul play ( Carvell) which led to an opposition player being hospitalised has also gone unpunished. None of the Wigan players' "offences" led to any injury! ( apart from Wilkin's sore throat from all the whining...!) |

At the game on Friday I thought it was a bad one, but having looked at the replays actually think Lima was hard done to, but will accept whatever the verdict is later, and if found guilty certainly won't suggest it is part of some grand RFL conspiracy. There's a few people who obviously don't have the wit to see that we've just had one side of the argument at this stage, yet are using that as evidence of guilt, without realising that Wigan and Lima put their case later. At that stage the merits or otherwise of the tackle can be debated further, however when you're a Whino on a mission who still can't believe they didn't win on Friday it might take more than 4 days to get over it.'"
