Quote DaveO="DaveO"I don't know about that. Cast your eyes on a few threads and he is criticised for his substitutions.
In any case with Noble the damage is done already. I also don't like the way he ignores form when picking players so as far as I am concerned we would win the lot from now on and I'd still like to see a new coach here for 2010.
Really pleased we won a close game tonight but that won't change my opinion of Noble as that has been formed by his entire record here over the last 3 years.

You mean saving us from relegation and getting us to within 80 mins of the GF?
I am not suggesting I agree with all Nobby's decisions, far from it. However, I think the criticism he faces on these boards is well OTT.
As for other coaches being bandied around, Justin Morgan was hailed by some on here as a tactical genius. I saw no evidence of that on todays evidence.
Again, not criticising Morgan as I agree he is a good coach, however, to hail him as a genius and Nobby as hopeless is completely wrong.
The real answer is that they are both good coaches.
I will re-iterate again though that Nobby has to play to the conditions of the competition. This means peaking in September/October. He hasn't done a bad job of doing that in his coaching career.
